Stem Cell Therapy In recent years, the field of healthcare has been witnessing a revolutionary approach with the advent of stem cell therapy. Stem cell therapy holds immense promise in treating a wide range of medical conditions and has the potential to revolutionize the way we approach healthcare. This cutting-edge therapy utilizes the remarkable abilities of stem cells to repair and regenerate damaged tissues, offering new hope for patients suffering from debilitating diseases and injuries. Mouth ulcers are a very common ailment among people. Although there is no definite cause behind mouth ulcers, some factors and triggers have been identified which include, dental braces, food sensitivities, and allergic response to mouth bacteria to name a few. These also include: minor facial trauma from brushing, hard biting, sports injury, or accidental trauma caused by the handle of a brush or toothbrush. Food sensitivities to alkaline foods such as oranges, pineapples, strawberries, and chocolate may also cause an infection.

Mouth ulcer treatment involves use of over-the-counter medications; however, the treatment may not be necessary if the cause is determined and corrected. Mouth ulcers in children are usually treated with soft antibiotics, or with certain medications that do not require any prescription. Also, dentures are recommended in order to prevent any kind of bacterial infection. Dentures made of soft plastic, composite, or composite materials should be avoided, as they may cause irritation and infection. Dentures must be replaced every six months or when the child reaches eighteen months.

Mouth ulcer treatment also includes over-the-counter pain relievers. Good hygiene practices such as regular brushing of teeth and gums is recommended. Getting your teeth professionally examined and cleaned by a dentist every six months and keeping mouth pieces (dentures, retainers, musical instruments) clean to prevent bacteria growth is also advised. Antiviral ointments such as penciclovir (Denavir) can be effective if they’re applied as soon as first signs of a sore appear. Penciclovir is a guanosine analogue antiviral drug used for the treatment of various herpesvirus infections. Penciclovir was approved for medical use by the U.S. FDA in 1996. Docosanol (Abreva) is another treatment option. Docosanol is used to treat "cold sores/fever blisters" (herpes labialis). This over-the-counter cream was approved in 2000. It can shorten an outbreak by anywhere from a few hours to a day. The cream must be applied several times per day.
